Waltzingmouse Blog Party

Hello, hello!
Today's the 17th...
and you know what that means...
This month we had the fun challenge of using DOILIES...
and I put together a very simple little ditty using Waltzingmouse Dainty Doilies 2...

Now...
it may look as though this was done in black...
but no.
This is my favorite color in the whole-wide-world...
NAVY!!!
And even though I could not get this pic to show it better...
it is simply gorgeous in navy!
But then...
everything is!
*giggle*
I stamped the image from Dainty Doilies 2 twice to complete the doily...
it's so amazingly simple to line up perfectly every time...
and creates a gorgeous focal point all on it's own.
And that fabulously scripted sentiment is from Fancy Phrases.
Stamped onto a small strip of white cardstock and then adhered onto a slightly larger strip of navy.
A few navy pearls...
all done!

So are you all ready for the Party?
No worries if you're running behind...
it's a long weekend here in the States and this party lasts for 24 hours!
You can get all the details on Claire's blog HERE...
and can't wait to see you!

Till next time!

Renee - this is so you - pure simple goodness and NAVY of course! You let the image do all the talking and its saying "look at me - I'm stunning!"

Just gorgeous! Love the pops of navy against the white background.

Wow--Renee--this is absolutely breathtaking. And, Navy is such a wonderful color, and gets so little time in the spotlight. I think I need some Navy ink, now.

Renee, this is so pretty. I love how you split the doily into halves and added the sentiment in the middle. So classy!

This is a really pretty doily card Renee...although the doily is beautiful, those three little pearls are what wowed me. Such a simple thing, but I love the different sizes perfectly scattered next to the sentiment.

WOOOOOW! I love it. Just LOVE it, Renee! A CAS design with nothing simple about it :) What a fab layout to showcase that stunning doily. Love the little band wrap with the black edges...and perfectly placed gems to boot! Just so amazing!!

This is simply fabulous - I love the contrast of the feminine doily with the masculine colourway

This is a splendid design Renee. This doily is the perfect image to use a sentiment right through the center. So very clever!

I'm sure this is even more gorgeous in person. Navy doesn't get enough love around here, unless it's for a masculine card. You've made it look so incredibly elegant!
