Waltzingmouse September Release...Spooky Tree and Vintage Witch

Good morning!
This is it...
the last day of previews for the 8 new Waltzingmouse sets that will be released tomorrow...
what are your thoughts so far?
Which set is at the top of your must have list?
Well...priorities may change after you see what we've got for you today!

First up is Spooky Tree...

WMS Spooky Tree Background

This cool background stamp gives an eerie feel to any Halloween project...
and is big enough to stamp in one go!
For this one I inked it up in Memento Tuxedo Black and then stamped onto a piece of Soft Stone cardstock.
I then stamped some bats from previously released Halloween Party into the tree...
and that fabby sentiment is from the new Vintage Witch which was stamped in SU Real Red...
and then adhered onto a black cardbase.

And now to meet this Vintage Witch...

WMS Vintage Witch

Isn't she spookingly perfect?
stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black on cream cardstock that I distressed the edges and inked with tea stain and then adhered onto a slightly larger piece of black cardstock.
I then adhered her onto a black cardbase along with some patterned paper from Authentique's Thrilling...
and a piece of cream cardstock that I had stamped the coordinating poem onto.
Some seam binding, ribbon, twine and a button...
along with a few little bats from Memory Box...
and this one was done!

Now for a easy one layer using this gorgeous set...

WMS Vintage Witch

With a little creative inking I was able to stamp the pumpkin on this stunning sentiment in Memento Tangelo and the rest in Tuxedo Black onto a white cardbase.
Super simple and easy to mass produce!

  4. Whoa! It's 90 degrees outside and I'm shivering! Must be the scary cards. The 'bat' tree is a favorite, some preteen of mine will smile when he see that image! All those sentiments fit their cards, and that bow next to witchy poo is heavenly!

  5. Hi Renee! Love the bats in the branches - so spooky! You showed off the branches beautifully letting them take center stage with no distraction - not in the background (know what I mean?) and I absolutely adore the second with the fancy ribbon treatment. SO cool that you fit the sentiment and the witch together on the front - and that bitty orange pumpkin on the inside is so sweet!
